Abstract
Seasonal changes in numbers of the black citrus aphid, Toxoptera aurantii, on flush leaves of young cocoa and chupons [seedlings] was investigated. Fluctuations in the aphid populations correspond with the flushing of cocoa which occurs at 10-12 wk intervals. The aphid has 28 generations a year at Tafo and 25 at Kitase and this is explained by the temperature difference between the localities. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
