Abstract
This study details speech work undertaken with a partially-hearing child who had difficulty using appropriate consonant contrasts. It illustrates the methods which were used to develop skills at both the phonetic and the phonological level. The emphasis was on helping the child to use his phonological system more appropriately, and the change in this system over six months is described. Keywords
