Abstract
Serial electrocardiographic recordings made on a heifer whose dam and sire as well as the daughter were raised on vit. E-free rations revealed a gradual development of cardiac abnormalities. The first change was an increase in the P-R interval, followed later by an increase in the QRS and Q-T intervals. The potential of the various deflections decreased. There were extrasystoles, and a change in the electrical axis of the heart. Microscopic studies showed abnormal changes in the Purkinje network. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
