Abstract
A patient presenting as a "classic" diabetes mellitus was found to have carcinoma of the thyroid with hyperthyroidism. Hyperthyroidism often potentiates an active diabetes or activates a potential diabetes. The association of carcinoma of the thyorid and hyperthyroidism occurs with less rarity than originally believed. Keywords
