Abstract
It is shown how to construct Lippmann-Schwinger equations for the scattering of relativistic projectiles from nuclear targets. The method is based on the Blankenbecler-Sugar reduction of a covariant equation. Among other topics, we discuss the optical model, the relativistic impulse approximation, coupled channel equations, and inelastic scattering. Keywords
