Abstract
The reviewer recognizes acetylcholine and Ad-substance as chemical transmitters of long duration. At nerve endings where the transmitter is of brief duration, however, he considers the evidence inadequate for deciding between chemical and electrical transmission; and finds fewer difficulties with the electrical hypothesis.This publication has 17 references indexed in Scilit:
