Abstract
Summary: Australian-grown Datura ferox has been found to contain as principal alkaloids, hyoscine and meteloidine. The chief alkaloidal constituents of Indian henbane are hyoscine, hyoscyamine and tropine; in this respect, Indian henbane differs from Hyoscyamus niger only in the absolute and relative proportions of the alkaloids. Keywords
