Abstract
From 295 individuals of four species of feral rats in Malaya and North Borneo, five species of trematodes were collected: Echinostoma malayanum Leiper, 1911, from Rattus argentiventer Robinson and Kloss; Skrjabinus muris Stscher-bakova, 1942, from R. sabanus Thomas and R. rajah surifer Miller (new hosts and distribution records); Athesmia foxi Goldberger and Crane, 1911, from R. argentiventer (new host and distribution records); BEAVERIA beaveri gen. n. sp. n. from R. sabanus; and B. microacetabulum sp. n. from R. infraluteus Thomas. A new subfamily, BEAVERIINAE, is proposed for the new genus which appears to be most suitably placed in the family Troglotrematidae. Keywords
