Esophageal Atresia With Tracheoesophageal Fistula

Abstract
Two unusual cases of esophageal atresia with tracheoesophageal fistula occurred and are discussed in relation to etiological mechanisms. Both cases illustrate extensive areas of respiratory epithelium in the distal part of the esophagus. One case illustrates the process of formation of a tracheoesophageal septum.
