Abstract
Desoxycorticosterone acetate exerts a protective effect in exptl. uremia produced by complete nephrec-tomy and although it does so when given in ranging doses and for different periods of time, the optimum conditions for the study of these antiuremic properties are 2.0 mg./day in the 18 g. mouse, and 5 mg./day in the 95 g. rat given subcut. in oil for 3 days. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
