Abstract
The roots of H. excelsum contain rubiadin and its 1-methyl ether, lucidin, nordamnacanthal, damnacanthal, 2-benzylxanthopurpurin, anthragallol, 6-methylalizarin, soranjidiol, and morindone; the quinones in the roots of D. major include nordamnacanthal, juzunal, norjuzunal, majoronal, 2-benzylxanthopurpurin, alizarin 1-methyl ether, and 5-hydroxyalizarin 1-methyl ether.Keywords
