H3(p,γ)He4reaction belowEp=30MeV

We have measured the cross section for the ${}_{}{}^3{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{H}$($p$,$\gamma$)${}_{}{}^4{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{He}$ reaction for incident proton energies from 8-30 MeV. The absolute 90° differential cross section below $E_p=18\mathrm{}$ MeV is in reasonable agreement with previous results. Angular distributions were measured at eight energies between $E_p=13\mathrm{} \mathrm{and} 30$ MeV. The coefficients which result from fitting these data to an expansion in Legendre polynomials are reported.
