Abstract
Measurements were made of venous drainage from the right and left lower lobes of dogs' lungs. Blood supply was normal and breathing spontaneous. One lung was ventilated with air or oxygen and the other with nitrogen. Control and experimental flows were highly variable and though the anoxic lung received a smaller flow that was significantly different, the physiologic consequence of this fact is doubtful. Keywords
