Abstract
Selenium tetrachloride is shown by gas-phase laser Raman spectroscopy to be fully dissociated in the vapour to selenium dichloride and chlorine, the vibrational spectrum of gaseous selenium dichloride being entirely consistent with that expected for a non-linear triatomic molecule.Keywords
