Abstract
Two types of feeds used to obtain broadband operation in multilayer microstrip antennas are compared, namely the coaxial probe and slot coupling. These two configurations are compared in terms of the approximation and hypothesis used in developing a model for the antennas and the radio characteristics obtained in the frequency bands (L, C, X/Ku) of the applications envisaged for these antennas. Keywords
