Abstract
Tuszyński, Paul, Chatterjee, and Sreenivasan [Phys. Rev. A 30, 2666 (1984)] purport to show that the Davydov soliton model and the Fröhlich model of far-from-equilibrium energy transport are formally equivalent. In fact, these authors do not make significant contact with essential features of the Fröhlich model, and the comparison fails. Keywords
