Abstract
Growth of Pullularia pullulans in shake culture on a synthetic medium, composed of D-glucose, l-asparagine, and mineral salts, was shown to be dependent on a supply of thiamine. The thiamine could be replaced by a combination of equivalent amounts of thiazole and pyrimidine, but not by either alone. Keywords
