Abstract
Flagellins of Halobacterium halobium are encoded in five different but homologous genes. Flagellins isolated from purified flagella were digested and the resulting peptides sequenced. The amino acid sequence data obtained prove that all five gene products are expressed and integrated into the flagellar bundle. Keywords
