Abstract
Existing antidepressants are unsatisfactory: they have limited efficacy, side-effects are a problem, and there is an appreciable degree of toxicity. However, nonpharmacological, psychological approaches to the treatment of depression also have their own drawbacks, so that the search for better antidepressant compounds continues.Keywords
