Abstract
A formula was developed for calculating the average radiation dose-rate distribution within a cell containing intranuclear tritium. The formula has been used to calculate a curve giving average dose rate as a function of distance from the center of a nucleus of 2-[mu] radius. The dose rate to the nucleus is about 9 times that to the cytoplasm. The assumptions involved in making the calculation are discussed. Keywords
