Abstract
Achaenites kansanum is described as the first Compositae achene to be recovered from the Pliocene Ogallala Formation. The description of this achene is based on a silicified specimen found in association with other fossils characteristic of the Ogallala Formation in the escarpment on the south-west side of Clark County State Lake, Clark County, Kansas. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
