Abstract
γ-Alumina, fluorinated with sulphur tetrafluoride followed by treatment with 1,1,1-trichloroethane, behaves as a catalyst for the room temperature fluorination of CH3CCl3 with anhydrous HF, giving a mixture of chlorofluorohydrocarbons.Keywords
