Abstract
A DEFINITIVE diagnosis of acute human brucellosis is not difficult to pursue in the patients with a history of exposure to the disease and a characteristic course. Considerable difficulty is encountered, however, in two general groups. The first comprises the patients who have had an acute attack, who have been properly treated and yet who have persistent complaints, with a low serum brucella agglutination titer not exceeding 1:80.
