Plication of the Orbicularis Oris Muscle to Repair Partial Paralysis of the Lower Lip

Abstract
A simple operative procedure of plicating the orbicularis oris muscle in a case of partial paralysis of the lower lip is described. The operation can be performed on an outpatient basis using local anesthesia, and results in almost normal lower-lip contour.
