Abstract
The use of a commercial anion-exchange electrode permits the rapid determination of nitrate in plant material and in non-saline soils and waters. The buffer used eliminates chloride, nitrite and organic anion interferences. The proposed method gives better recovery and reproducibility than the Devarda method.
