Abstract
Comparison tests conducted with standard Pilot B scintillator and Pilot B with 10 times the normal concentration of wave shifter show the latter to exhibit an output pulse ~1¿ times as large when viewed with an RCA C31000D GaP first dynode photomultiplier tube. These results bear out a conclusion reached after analyzing the results of a previous study of plastic s cintillators.Keywords
