Hypotension after Quinidine plus Verapamil

Abstract
VERAPAMIL is a calcium-channel blocking agent that has been used extensively in the treatment of coronary vasospasm1 and supraventricular arrhythmias.2 , 3 Its negative inotropic and chronotropic actions as well as its vasodilator effect make it useful in the treatment of other disorders, such as angina pectoris.4 As indications for the use of verapamil increase, the potential for its interacting with other drugs also increases.
