Photometric Analysis of Spectrograms of Two Perseid Meteors

Abstract
Calibrated photometry has been carried out on two Perseid meteor spectra photographed near Ottawa in 1957. The peak brightness of these meteors in the flares reached at least −11 absolute photographic magnitude. Some 80 atomic and molecular features were identified in the two spectra, which corresponded with the normal spectral type for bright Perseids. Absolute fluxes for the radiations from atomic lines, molecular nitrogen bands, and meteor train features have been listed.
