Abstract
The autosomal recessive, engrailed, in D. hydei is clearly parallel to engrailed of melanogaster, but more extreme in phenotype at high temps. Slight venation changes occur when reared at 20C; extreme abnormalities including bifurcated antennae, split thorax, and loss of tarsal joints at 24C; and a lethal action in the pupal stage at 30C.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
