Abstract
A general view of the spore shows a thick three-layered wall, two nuclei, ribosomes, mitochondria, and microbodies, as well as prominent lipid droplets and glycogen granules. Vacuole-like structures can be detected next to the innermost wall layer, which plugs the conjunction with the sterigma. Special attention was given to the respective localization of mitochondria and microbodies. Keywords
