Abstract
The Amati-Bertocchi-Fubini-Stanghellini-Tonin multiperipheral model is modified to study deep inelastic electron-nucleon scattering. In particular, the scaling property of the structure functions is derived. The multiperipheral derivation is compared with derivations that use other models. Keywords
