Abstract
The influence of radiation defects on the static critical phenomena in TGS, an uniaxial ferroelectric with second order phase transition, was studied using the dielectric method. The critical exponents β and γ were found to be the same for pure samples and samples with defects, as predicted by classical theories. However, the width of the critical region within which non-classical behaviour can be observed was found to increase with the concentration of radiation defects. Keywords
