Abstract
Cr was histochemically stained with Chrome azurol S. The low reactivity of Cr was surpassed by the accelerated reaction of methanol added to the straining medium. Interferences were masked by acetylacetone. Cr-Chrome azurol S chelate complex colored blue in the sections of the livers and the kidneys of Cr injected rats. The blue coloration of the stained sections was identified as Cr with an electron probe microanalyzer. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
