Benign Epithelioma of the Iris

Abstract
A benign form of iris epithelioma of the eye of a 32-year-old woman remained under observation for 7 years. It grew from the area of the filtration angle, from the side of the nose to the center of the anterior eye chamber. The tumor was removed with a part of the iris. Microscopically it consisted of 2 types of cells: those producing mucopolysaccharides and glycogen and cells containing melanins.
