A noise spectrum described by a distribution in time constants

Abstract
We have found spectra of the form (A/f )[1−(2/π)tan−1(ωτ0)] in GaAs Schottky gate field effect transistors at low frequencies. Such spectra were predicted by van der Ziel and by du Pre in 1950 and by McWhorter in 1955, and are attributed to a process governed by a distribution in time constants.Keywords
