Abstract
An evaluation, as of 1950, is made of the gamma-ray and neutron dosages received in the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The neutron dosage at Hiroshima was larger than at Nagasaki by a factor of at least 10. The gamma-ray dosages, however, were comparable at the 2 places. Curves are given of dosages as a function of ground distance from the point of explosion. It should be possible to distinguish radiological effects which are specifically neutron or gamma-ray induced by a study of relative incidence at the 2 places. Keywords
