Abstract
Detailed magnetization measurements have been performed on a single crystal of the tetragonal nonmagnetic Kondo lattice compound Ce . A careful analysis of the data reveals an anomalous behavior below 4 K: namely, a strong decrease of the initial susceptibility associated with the existence of a metamagnetic transition at about 30 kOe inside the basal plane.
