Local density of states distribution and NMR in small metallic particles

Abstract
For the first time the distribution function of local densities of states describing an NMR line is calculated for a system of small metallic particles. It is shown that the Knight shift decreases and the line becomes very broad and asymmetric when decreasing the temperature and particle size.Keywords
