Abstract
The absolute stability of quantum-fluid mixtures is examined in terms of long-range correlations in the wave function. Divergent long-range fluctuations in the Jastrow part of the ground-state wave function are shown to signal the location of the spinodal point, i.e., the limiting concentration for supersaturation. Sample results are presented for two-component boson fluids. Keywords
