Abstract
The frequency of six denture‐related injuries in patients residing in two geriatric hospitals was investigated. The incidence was found to be higher than that reported by previous investigators. Some predisposing factors for the presence of these lesions are noted. Recommendations are made for maintaining healthy oral tissues in institutionalized denture wearers. Keywords
