Abstract
A dumb-bell mediastinal melanotic schwannoma was described and the rarity of this type of tumor emphasized. The tumor was resected by simultaneous laminectomy and posterior thoracotomy. The patient is well 4 yr after operation. The pathology of the tumor was described and the origin of melanotic cells discussed. This publication has 15 references indexed in Scilit:
