Abstract
Chromosomes of nine new cultivars and two plants designated as ligtu hybrids of Alstroemeria were studied with the following results: Two cultivars had a diploid number of 2n = 2x = 16; six cultivars showed triploidy with 2n = 3x = 24; and one was a hypertetraploid with 2n = 4x + 1 = 33. Two plants designated as A. ligtu hybrid were diploids with 2n = 16.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
