Abstract
The development of three isolates of Plasmodium falciparum in normal (AA) and hemoglobin E (HbE)-containing red cells was studied by in vitro culture. No differences were observed in the abilities of AA, heterozygous AE and homozygous EE cells to support parasite growth under both reduced (17%) and hyperbaric (30%) oxygen tension.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
