Abstract
It is recommended that the viscosities of worts and beers be measured with the apparatus and technique described in British Standard 188:1957. Sufficient accuracy for brewing purposes can be obtained with an Ostwald Instrument, size B, and one of these carrying a certificate from the National Physical Laboratory should be kept for the purpose of calibrating the instruments used for routine purposes. Keywords
