Abstract
A simple and successful method for setting up primary cultures of Boophilus microplus embryonic cells surface-sterile eggs is described. One culture has been taken through 14 subcultures to date. The cells vary in morphology, most being round or epithelial-type. Fibroblast-type cells are also present. The cultures are being studied for arbovirus growth. Keywords
