Abstract
Rabbit red cells, suspended in hypo-tonic NaCl, lose K in the right quantity to account for the volume changes observed. The cells reach their equilibrium volume within ca. 15 sec. and presumably the loss of K occurs while they are swelling to equilibrium. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
