Abstract
Studies of the thickness of red blood cells infixed, sectioned material from patients with iron deficiency anemia, pernicious anemia, constitutional hemolytic jaundice, panmyelop-athy and polycythemia, were made. The curves, compared to Price-Jones curves, characterise a 3 dimensional form of red blood cells, and show a relation in different ways, to the increase in red blood cell volume.
