Abstract
The frequency and importance of gastric mucosal lesions in patients with portal hypertension have been increasingly recognized in recent years. This article describes the clinical and endoscopic features of portal hypertensive gastropathy and reviews the current state of knowledge concerning the pathophysiology and treatment of the disorder.Keywords
