Abstract
A review of the available formulas for predicting the complex permittivity of mixtures of dielectrics has revealed some of their limitations. The authors pro-ose altemative formulas, which are straightforward and less time consuming. Measured values of e' and e", obtained from experiments conducted on mixtures of transformer oil, cottonseed oil, and castor oil in differcnt volumetric proportions, are in close agreement with their predicted values. Keywords
