Abstract
Investigated the relationship between degree of categorical clustering and amount of recall within a free recall paradigm. Results with 60 undergraduates indicate that Ss demonstrating a high degree of clustering recalled more than Ss demonstrating a low degree of clustering. This finding is contrary to that of C. Puff (see record) who found no differences between the recall scores of high and low clusters. Methodological and procedural differences are discussed as possible explanations for the discrepant results. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2006 APA, all rights reserved)Keywords
